DeckTradr Pro inventory workflow
Print and scan barcodes tied to exact trading card inventory
Give a supported card or custom item a DeckTradr inventory identity, print its Code 128 label, and use that code to find the same record again in supported vendor transaction flows.
Barcode Inventory is part of the signed-in Pro vendor workspace. DeckTradr codes identify records in your own inventory; this is not a universal UPC or manufacturer-barcode database.

Barcode inventory workflow
Label the record once, then scan back to that inventory identity
The barcode is useful because it points to the exact DeckTradr inventory row or supported custom item you selected—not because DeckTradr guesses from an arbitrary retail code.
- 01
Choose the inventory record
Search your signed-in vendor inventory for the exact card or supported custom item you want to identify.
- 02
Print or assign the code
Print the portable DeckTradr Code 128 label on demand, or explicitly attach an existing barcode to that selected record when the workflow supports it.
- 03
Scan during supported entry
Use a compatible keyboard-wedge scanner, or type the code manually, to resolve the linked record in supported vendor transaction flows.

Plain answers
TCG barcode inventory questions
Does DeckTradr print barcode labels for trading card inventory?
Yes. The Pro web Barcode Inventory workflow can print portable Code 128 labels for supported card-inventory records and custom items.
Can DeckTradr scan any UPC or manufacturer barcode?
No. DeckTradr is not described as a universal UPC or manufacturer-barcode database. Its portable codes identify supported DeckTradr inventory records, while another code resolves only when it has been explicitly stored or matches a released lookup path.
Can I assign an existing barcode to an inventory item?
Yes, for supported records. Select the exact card or custom item, scan or type the code, and save it. Duplicate conflicts are surfaced instead of silently linking one code to multiple records.
Which scanners work with Barcode Inventory?
The web workflow accepts scanner input that behaves like keyboard entry and also allows manual typing. DeckTradr does not guarantee compatibility with every USB, Bluetooth, mobile, or proprietary scanner.
Which plan includes the barcode inventory workspace?
The personal web Barcode Inventory workspace requires DeckTradr Pro. Eligible team access can also depend on the current workspace and assigned permissions.
