Editorial standards

DeckTradr publishes practical guidance for collectors and vendors. These standards explain how we keep that work useful, attributable, and separate from unsupported marketing claims.

Effective September 19, 2026

Who is responsible

Published articles are attributed to the DeckTradr editorial team unless a named contributor is shown. Staff control the publish action in DeckTradr's private content system. Automated tools may help with research organization or drafting, but a draft is not a public DeckTradr source until staff publishes it.

Evidence and sourcing

  • Product features, prices, policies, and competitor comparisons should cite the company's current first-party page, documentation, or app-store listing.
  • Time-sensitive statistics must include the date observed and a link to the underlying source.
  • DeckTradr product claims must match the live product, current documentation, or measured first-party data.
  • We do not invent testimonials, usage figures, accuracy rates, rankings, or performance results.

Product comparisons

Comparison pages should define the audience and evaluation criteria before naming products. We compare like with like, identify pricing dates and plan limits, link to each product's official source, disclose that DeckTradr is an interested party, and state where another product is the better fit. A comparison is refreshed when a material source changes or is retired when it can no longer be maintained.

Market and grading content

Card values can move quickly and condition is subjective. Market content should identify the observation window, card variant, finish, condition or grade, currency, and source set when those details affect the conclusion. Photo-based grading results are estimates for pre-screening, not official grades or guarantees from PSA, BGS, CGC, TAG, or another grading company.

Commercial relationships

When DeckTradr receives compensation, affiliate revenue, products, data access, or another material benefit related to coverage, the article should disclose it where readers can see it before relying on the recommendation.

Corrections and updates

Material corrections should update the visible modification date and explain the change when context is useful. To report an error, email support@decktradr.com with the article URL and supporting source.
